Spirit Space Labyrinth

Our labyrinth is complete. The beautiful five circuit labyrinth is made of all natural products. Come meander and meditate in the serene wooded environment of this sacred land.
A labyrinth is a unicursal creation, its single pathway in becomes the only way out and the journey is one of faith.
Walking a labyrinth is to dance your way into your own heart. Reaching the center, one may choose to release things that are not serving for highest good. Walking back out, one brings a renewed and rekindled spirit back with them. For centuries labyrinths have provided the space for meditation, prayer and self-reflection. Lightning Stone Rattle Workshop

Singing Man is a Traditional Elder for his people and has been using rawhide rattles for years in ceremony. In this three hour workshop, he will show you how to make your own personalized ceremonial rattle and explain why seven stones are used to enhance the sight and sound emitted from the rattle. He is an enrolled member of the Southern Plains Indians of Oklahoma. His people have been making these rattles for centuries.

They are called Lightning Stone Rattles for the light energy and sound they emit while being used in ceremony. The light or sparks are said to be the spirits of ancestors and friends who live in the spirit world now who are trying to communicate through prayer. These rattles are mostly used in the Ceremonial Lodges of his people. He will show you how to cut, punch, sew, and decorate your rattle to fit your own personality. Singing Man will also show you that it is important to pray over the materials before you begin to use them. Cleansing and blessing is as important as the objects themselves.

Singing Man will furnish materials for this workshop and will instruct you how to assemble, decorate, paint, and bless your rattle. The cost is $50 (pre-registration) or $60 per person on Oct 11. There is a special pre-registration price of 2 persons for $90. Extra kits will be available for sale at a nominal fee. Please contact Singing Man @ ndn_n_ok@yahoo.com if you have any questions. Fall Clean-up

October 18, following our Gathering and a meal, we will join together for our fall clean-up. If you are able to stay and assist, please wear comfortable work clothes or bring something to change into. We are grateful for the support!
